Useless bank don't switch

Iapplied for an overdraft telephonically. It was approved! I was sent a contract. They asked me to sign it and send it back with payslip. Sent next day. I phoned to find out if everything was ok I was told yes and the money was going to be available the very next day. I phoned the next day and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told they never received my documents even though they had been telling me it just needed to be loaded.
I was given someone's personal email address to send my documents. I sent them. I phoned and asked for him - his name was van loggerenberg or something along those lines. As I was waiting for him he sent me an email back saying he had sent the documents off. In our conversation he had told me that the overdraft would loaded in the morning. I phoned the following morning to find out the status. I was told they had not received my documents.
This seems to be the trend for covering their incompetences.
When I told them that I had received confirmation that they were received I was told the person whom I dealt with had forgotten to update the system. I was told at 11am it will in at 2pm. I am still waiting.
