I phone Standard Bank's customer care line to track down where my card is because they can't seem to do as promised the first 4 times but that's not my problem, my problem is I phoned them, sat in queue for 15 - 20 minutes listening to their silly music to finally have my call answered, went through all the security question, gave my request got the response, ok please hold the line while I check, then I got put at the back of the freaken queue again, got another consultant on the line after 10 minutes of waiting. Why answer the call and go through all the questions to put the customer at the end of the line without helping or even saying you can't help? It's pathetic!! Took me like an hour to find out that they still haven't done as requested. Which I can handle but answering then hanging up is unacceptable.
