Went into Capitec Branch 2/6/13 to have a debit order reversed from my shortterm insurance company. I changed my insurance to a new company and was informed via email from my broker that everything was in order and should both premiums be deducted I should just request a reversal from my banking institution as the companies have a set date for their debit order runs and should they not cancel it in time the debit order will be send to the bank. This is now exactly what has happened. I took a printout of this email I received from my broker to the bank at The Grove Mall. I have never in my life had such bad service and an unwillingness to be of any assistance from any other bank. Even though it is very clear that 2 shortterm premiums was deducted from my account, the copy of the email from my broker was not good enough for this arrogant guy behind the counter. I am now short R700 in my budget for no good reason at all but Capitec not willing to do their job!
