Deducting money without authorisation

Whilst checking my debit orders I realised that R600 more was deducted with my car premium. Not knowing why, I made some enquiries only to find out that Absa has taken the liberty to take out a policy on my behalf for insurance on my car. First and foremost, it is shocking that no-one at your establishment has taken the time to inform me about this. I have not even had a phone call or a SMS asking for authorisation to deduct money for my account or even to make sure that I have insurance on my vehicle. When I bought my Hyundai I10 I was not allowed to take the vehicle of the show room's floor without proof that I have insurance. Now without any effort on your part you decide you are going to take out insurance on my behalf, without the client's knowledge. If someone would have taken the time to call me or even sent me an email I would have told you that I have insurance since I bought my car in 2009. I was also told that the full terms and conditions will be forwarded to me on issuing the policy, that I have also not received. So for all purposes you could have done anything with the R636.15 for a supposed insurance policy.
