Poor communication skills

Its funny how companies run radio ad campaigns and fail to inform or train their staff to be able to deal with the vision portrayed in the ad. Nedbank is currently running a Home Loans ad on radio, but the past week I found out its not as easy as told in the ad. We are interested in a NOP, part of the agreement when making a offer is to include a non refundable deposit, which will be lost if no loan is granted. We submitted docs to be responsible as to find out do we qualify for a loan, someone from Nedbank contacted Antoinette (24-5-13) and said that a consultant will call her to do an affordability check. On 29-5-13 still no consultant, so we went to branch, phoned 0860911007 pressed 2 for affordability check and we were told that function does not exist and Nedbank does not do affordability checks but we can phone Chantel Rayfield that will assist us. she told us to send her an email regarding the query, so we did and she replied 30-5-13, saying its been passed on to Bridget to assist us. and since then we had no feedback from any consultant. Now I am asking how can we trust Nedbanks system and take the risk of the non refundable deposit if they cant reply to our query?
