Two years ago I applied for a pesronal loan at Nedbank and it was granted almost immediately, I have never missed a payment or had a returned debit meanwhile they would debit 3 days before the agreed date at times. Recently I applied for a home loan and it was DECLINED, I called to ask for the assessment critea and why I did not qualify the consultant mumbled and I hung up because I was fustrated. The letter I received just said the following:
"Nedbank uses available credit and behavioural information to calculate your credit score. The credit score is assessed by taking the size of the proposed deposit into account. Based on the assessment, we unfortunately cannot approve your application."
