NEDBANK PERSONAL LOANS GIVE CONFLICTING STATEMENTS

Prior to my UNPAID maternity leave, I called the Nedbank Personal Loans department to make alternative payment arrangements so that I did not receive poor credit. I spoke to a lovely lady who told me not to worry and to call back anytime after the last debit came off and they would stop payment for the duration of my maternity leave.

I was unfortunately unable to call sooner due to medical emergencies, but still called before the next debit came off to make the arrangement. I was put through to a very rude man who told me that this was impossible to do, I would receive bad credit and I had to pay. Due to his rudeness and inability to assist, I have had the first debit bounce as I have not received any money from UIF as yet. All my financial business sits with Nedbank and I am appalled by the manner in which I was treated, it doesn't encourage loyalty to the bank.

What is the purpose of taking insurance out for the loan if I cannot make use of it for the four months, ESPECIALLY when I have always remained in good credit with Nedbank.

Poor Show Nedbank. I am yet to call back your crummy Loan department due to their utter inability to have common decency for their clients.
