FNB won't budge. I was under debt review from 2009-2011 as I am married COP and my hubby had applied for debt review. In 2011 we withdrew from the process and a form 17.4 indicating voluntary withdrawal was issued.
To our surprise when I applied for VAF from FNB it was declined although I am credit clear. Upon digging I found out that FNB still has me under debt review on their system. I submitted all the proof to FNB (a form 17.4 and correspondence from the debt counselor confirming the withdrawal). To my surprise FNB refuses to update ther system although my credit profile with all the bureaus clearly indicates that I am not under debt reveiw and have no arrears payments with any creditor.
FNB says that they need a letter from court with an agreement. What agreement when I am credit clear. I am being unfairly prejudiced by FNB's actions and omissions. Surprisingly FNB updated my hubby's profile in December 2012 without requiring a court letter. Why the double standards for the same case?
