I spoke to a senior consultant at Miway by the name of Rabia, we concluded the deal on the 23/05/2013 . upon conluding the deal i asked Rabia when the debit will be taken as i need cover immediately. She then confirmed that the cover will be effective immediately but the 1st debit will be on the 20/06/2013. i repeatedly asked her if she is sure that i will be covered immediately considering the debit will only be going off on the 20/06 she again confirmed that that is the case. she even went on ti explain that thet cover date and commencement date differ, cover date is the date from which i will be covered and the commencement date is the date on which the 1st debit will be taken. First thing this morning i recieve an sms from my bank to advise that miway has debited my acc. i called then to reverse the debit, now they telling me if they reverse the debit i will not be insured. My problem with the fact that i went according to what their SENIOR consultant advised me. now she gets away with a slap on the wrist and i am stuck with an unplanned debit! leaving R900 out of what i budgeted and a rejecetion as a had a few rand less than what they debited from my acc. I am FURIOUS
