I opened a Student Achiever Account in November/December last year 2012. My sister opened the same account at the same time and receives smses after every transaction. After speaking to Standard Bank about 2 months ago, I have still not received SMS's whenever i withdraw money, EFT's, debit purchases and receiving deposits. I am shocked with this service and I have had so many problems with this account and this is one service that i actually really need.
Due to not getting SMSes after every transaction I rely on the account history service on the internet banking site and this morning i went to check the past 60 days transactions and it told me that there have been no transactions for the past 60 days when i know very well that i have been using this account. I now have no clue what is going on in my account as i don't receive smses and cant check my statement.
