Text from Standard Bank Debit Card Division on the 18.05.2013 saying I must call them urgently.
At the Bank I was given the phone to call the Division in JHB. and learnt my account had been cleaned out with only R80 remaining. Cards were stopped and new cards were issued at the desk.
I was advised it could take 10 days to investigate by the Division and the employee at the Amanzimtoti desk sorting out our new cards and seeing how upset I was indicated it might be resolved in less than 10 days.
At all times I was in position of my bank card. I am retired and live on a fixed income and desperately need the money as my next pension is due on the last day of the month.
On Thursday the 23rd. I phoned the Division for an update but was unsuccessful, I was on hold for over 15 minutes and was concerned about the cost of the call.
On Saturday 25 th. I went in to the bank to inquire but the Info. Desk was unmanned the very few consultants were busy with clients. It is blatantly obvious to me that the withdrawals were not made by me and I am distressed that I have had no feedback and never once any indication I will be reinbursed as there is no negligence o
