Thembi helped me open a Standard bank account today. She was very helpful, calm and relaxed. I mention this because I was there minutes before the branch was about to close and I'm used to assistants rushing through everything so they can 'knock off on time.' I even asked when they closed because she was so relaxed. We even went over closing time and her attitude didn't once change. This was so nice because minutes before arriving I was pressured to leave fnb as they were closing.
She went through all the different savings accounts i can open, explaining the interest rates and all. It was really nice. I say this because I am comparing to my earlier experience where I was even too scared to ask for a pamphlet.
Anyway, i'll be back on monday to switch accounts as I will be depositing more money into my new Standard Bank account. Good work.
