Debit order problem

I have on repeated times asked that the debit order must go of on the 1st of every month but clearly this falls on deaf ears as it has gone of on the 24th again making me look stupid when i went to the shops to buy food and got told my card has been declined due to lack of funds so tonight i am sitting without food because my salery only gets paid in on the 26th of every month if this happens again i will charge you interest i mean how can i work out my budget when you just take the money whenever you want this needs to stop
