Hi

This is the email I replied to Karen after she promply assisted with my query. I'm awaiting feedback on how can I be liable for years and years of interest and fees when I was not aware that this account was in arrears and no correspondence or contact was received to state that this account was in arrears. I need to make arrangements for a settlement fee and this account to be paid. I dont want to incurr any additional charges as this could go on and on.

I will go through this statements, I'm sure that I have paid and settled, cos the last 100 should have had a couple of rands credit. I will have to go through my docs and see if I do have any receipts or something to verify payments.

Please can you send me statements from 2010 or when I last used the card.

My issue is now why haven't I been contacted or sent any correspondence if this account was in arrears for so long.

How can I be liable for interest charges and fees when I was not aware that this account was overdue.

Contact made 2 years later is unacceptable
