My card was cloned on Wednesday night 15 May 2013 @ 20:30, and the amount of R1 160 was taken from my cheque account. I immediately informed Standard bank at 086 012 3107 and was given the following reference number 5926488. I did not receive acknowledgment of my complain or any progress report and when I just phoned today @ 12:10 the number 011 227 4905, i had to hold on for 15 minutes before speaking to an operator, then during our conversation was put on hold twice, adding to my frustration. Then I was informed that they have a high volume of calls, and that the investigators are extremely busy, so how many cards are getting cloned a day? Now I was left with we will get back within the next five days, in the meantime I am out of pocket with only R6 left in my account. I cannot keep borrowing money to provide for my family.
