Sold wrong policy

On April 2013 (can't remember the date) the agent from Bidvest called to re-new my policy. I then asked him the limit to my claims. He informed me that the highest I can claim is R15000. My died on me and when I took it to the dealer I was informed that the computer box was fault and needed a new one and the cost is R15000. When I claimed I was told that my limit is R2000. I'm driving a Mazda 3 1.6 Sport Active year 2005, why would I take a policy which pays out only R2000. My frustrations are that, why was I sold the wrong policy but told otherwise? Why would I be downgraged from a Luxi Cover to Econo Cover but promises are based on the Luxi Cover?

The agent promised to send me the documents and the recordings to our conversation in which he never did. Had he sent me those especially the documents, I would have picked this up and not went through with the policy. I feel like I was robbed. Please assist.
