I took up a policy in Sept 2012 and requested a business cover exactly the same as my business partner who has a policy with budget. They promised to do exact unerwritting. on the 21 Nov my car was involved in an accident then I was told that my driver cannot be covered as my policy does not cover him. However they mentioned that if it was the same as my partners they would fix the car. That is when I realised that they may have given me a different policy.By this time they had not even sent me a copy of the policy documents.
A senior consultant, Mr James Heystek, called me to say they won't be fixing the car. I argued that they did not give me the policy I asked for and did not even send the policy documents for me to go though them as I may have noted their fault. He got very rude and angry at one stage even asking me if I know whom I'm talking to. The accident was on 21 Nov. Our conversation was on the 19th Dec 2012 but by the 11th Jan, Budget had not yet made an official descision on my claim. My car is still in Budgetn Insurance storage pending decision. I have had to return the courtesy car on 3rd Jan. I use the car for bussiness and the delays very costly. Please help.
