Standard Bank
Sent from pillar to post

In March I received a letter in the post from the bank requesting that we get a medical statement from the doctor who was treating my late mother in order for them to clear and close her credit card account. The form acknowledges that a doctor's consultation fee will be paid by standard bank for the completion of the form. I then did as requested and had to pay the consultation fee beforehand in order to get the information. On April 25th I then faxed the form back together with the proof of payment for the doctor's consultation fee as well as my banking details so that I can be reimbursed. I then followed this up on May7th only to be told by a Ms Letsie whose name was on the letter that requested the MSDC that the account was closed on May 3rd however the reimbursement is not her dept's responsibility but that of credit life. I then called credit life and explained the story, was asked to resend the fax, which I did. On May 17 I then called again and a lady by the name of Nthabi took my contact details and assured me that this would be resolved and that my money will be paid back she just needs to liaise with the correct dept that is responsible for this. STILL NOTHING!!!
