Change debit order date without my consent

I got an SMS stating that the debit order for my personal loan has been moved to my "salary date" of 22nd each month. The arrangement between myself and my employer is that I get paid before the 25th of each month, hence the debit order was for the 25th. If the 21st (when my salary is transfered) falls over a weekend I have before only got the transfer cleared in my account on the 23rd.

I have not been contacted regarding this. I simply received an SMS that it's been done. Now it's up to me to waste my time, my money, my frustration to phone the bank and get this reversed. Why was I not asked? This is breach of contract - have a look at all the correspondence regarding this account, I have chosen the 25th for a reason - you have no right at all to change any debit order dates without contact me and asking for my permission first.

This is NOT acceptable.
