I had a credit card with FNB and i recently called them for the settlement amount which was provided to me and paid on the 23rd January. I asked the branch in menlyn to close it and they said i need to call the credit card department. I contacted credit card department then they said i should have done that at the branch. They then sent me a form which i filled in on Thursday the 24th and e-mailed back to them, i have an e-mail report to prove that they did receive my letter. According to the form i was suppose to get feedback within 48 hours and so far no one has contacted me and it is more that 48 hours. I want the credit card close ASAP. I paid the amount they asked from me and now they are taking me from pillar to post. I paid back their money and i don't want anything to do with them anymore. I dont know who has to assist me as the branch failed to do so and the credit card department is also failing me.
