I registered a claim with Standard Bank (Home-owners Insurance Devision) telephonically on the 10 January 2013. I have been trying to call the claims line since that day to query and provide additional details for the claim and query a few things, but I have been placed on hold endlessy (sometimes for more than 30 minutes!!) which is unacceptable. If Standard Bank call centre is unable to take the calls from their clients, they should employ more staff to provide this service. I have lodged a complaint on the Standard Bank website (15-Jan-2012), but havn't received any response as yet.
Very dissapointed with the service received!!
