I called standard bank which i have a home loan with to find out my outstanding balance. i have left banking with standard bank many years ago due to their pathetic service and they have never failed in proving what a great decision that was.i spoke to linda ref no.40709001 who was useless.not only couldnt he provide me with a simple balance, he could not transfer me to some one who could help. I then asked to speak to a superior to assist with my query, that too was too much of a task. there is no management available to address my concerns.it is shocking that a company with such poor service which does not have enough staff or concern for its clients that keep the company alive, is still existant. it must be the stupidity of the clients that sustains it. im still waiting for a response from standard bank. definately wont hold my breath on that.
