It is easier to speak to the pope than it is to speak to somebody in authority at Standard Bank insurance!!!
I lodged a claim on 29 August for a leaking solar geyser panel. An assessor was sent out - and since then - NOTHING! No calls, no letter, no email - NOTHING!
I cant lodge a complaint - because the call centre operator will not transfer me to anybody until I first confirm my id number, physical address, postal address, home number, work number, fax number, cell number and what I had for breakfast!!!
I am a customer - and want to know WHY STANDARD BANK INSURANCE ARE IGNORING MY CLAIM.
Will somebody please advise me why nothing has been done about claim 13/159080.
I have been with Standard Insurance for 25 years - but will now be cancelling my policy because I am unable to ask a simple question about my claim without having to give ALL MY INFORMATION and to have my intelligence insulted by being told that it is for MY PROTECTION!!!
I WILL NOT divulge ALL my confidential information to a nameless, faceless call centre operator so that it can be used for identity and -so I am using hellopeter to get Standard Bank Insurances attention.
