Extremely Disappointing Customer Service

I needed to go into a Standard Bank branch to acquire 2 settlement letters, one for a personal loan and one for a credit card. My concern arose when I was personally in the bank but still they could not assist me with getting a settlement letter for my credit card. They first had to phone the card division to acquire the settlement amount and when I requested that it be emailed to me in a letter they said it is going to take 48 hours for the email to reach me as it needs to go through another department... really??? In the day and age we live in... it takes 2 business days to email a letter to me??? Whilst I take the time off work and effort to physically visit a Standard Bank branch the attitude is still... sorry mam, but this all we can do for you, you are going to have to wait!!! The mindset and service Standard Bank offers clients are appalling!!!
