My business credit card was somehow used for a transaction when all the time the card was on my person and I was nowhere near the retailer. When I phoned in to report this unauthorised transaction I was advised to cancel that card and have a new one re-issued. My FNB Call ref nr is Rt1304048347 on 4/4/13 @ 9:50am.
Evelyn B Monyeki emailed me regarding the investigation taking place. I was then emailed again on 23/4/13 with the signed credit card voucher attached and the comment that "Thank you for your enquiry about a transaction of R542.42 on your account. A copy of the signed voucher relating to this transaction is enclosed. We hope that this resolves your query. Please note that a voucher retrieval fee of R62.00 will be debited to your account".
I immediately replied stating that the voucher was nowhere near my signature and I attached my own signature for a sample of which could have been obtained on any previous vouchers in the 1st place.
I heard nothing back. So on 9/5/13 I emailed yet again asking what the latest is. Still no reply!
What kind of investigation is this and I want to know the outcome now.
