ABSA forcing insurance on me and lack of feedback

I applied for a bond through ABSA which was approved. The consultant after sending me the approval has been uncontactable. she does not reply to emails. i have been trying since Dec13th to have the insurance premium removed from the policy as i have my own insurance. i have given ABSA proof of my insurance on the property as the property is already in my name and we are doing a swtich. they refuse to remove their insurance until ABSA interests are noted on the policy. i have explained that the current bond is with Standard Bank and the interests will remain with Standard Bank until the bond has been transfered to ABSA. this doesnt seem to be good enough as they have still not (a month later) removed their insurance premium from my quote. the consultant told me to accept the quote as is and arrange to have the insurance removed later but i am not willing to do this as i know once i have signed off on the grant that it will be a mission to remove. i would appreciate if ABSA could allocate someone to deal with me who is going to be able to take my calls and give me feedback. i have phoned the call centre numerous times only to be cut off.
