My daughter paid money by mistake into somebody's account at standard bank, that money was meant for JHB CITY.it only came to my attention recently that this had occurred. I went to the branch spoke to the manager who assured me that she will put a stop on this persons account. She phoned the client while i was there informing him of the problem and he agreed. I went to see her again on the 14 05 2013 and she said that she phoned the client on the Friday before to warn him to pay in the money, the client did not do so but withdrew all the money. My gripe is why did she not block the account on Friday as it is when he is paid
and why promise me and not do it. Another gripe is that she gives me a phone number which she never answers and i have to go there in person.
