Extremely unhappy! After huge hailstorm last year, claim with quotes was put in. Accessor was sent out and
builder to quote on building repairs. That was the last we heard. Few days ago I started phoning the insurance dept. mornings and afternoons. Waited up to 20 minutes each time with no one responding. After trying other depts. with no satisfaction, and being extremely frustrated, (also have a job to do, cant hang on phone all day) I eventually got response! I was given some feedback with a promise that the builder would phone for arrangements and some payouts would be made. I asked for a list of repairs the builder quoted for to be emailed and this was promised. Never received and never heard from builder! Phoned again this morning. After waiting again for probably 15 min. for response, again the report was promised to be emailed
and no comment about the builder who still hasnt contacted us! No report received! I want to pull my hair out! Never before has the service at StandardBank insurance dept been this bad! I am so frustrated! What now??
