I recently found out my account had an arrears. This account is about 6-7 years old and I was 100% sure this was paid up but could not prove this as its so old. After contacting your call center number they confirmed amount R 2884 is due. I then when all the way your my local branch they called in and spoke to Lefty at your call center which said I quality for a 50% discount and only owe R1442. This amount was then paid on the 27th of April. I contacted the your call center on the 3rd of May for the letter regarding the paid up account - I was then informed it takes 5 working days. Yesterday the 14th of May I called in again requesting the letter - only to find out the funds has been refunded to me. I did not receive this funds the funds was returned to the Standardbank account that was closed 7 years ago. I don't have a letter confirming the account is settled and this is reflecting on ITC. After checkign with them again on the refund i was told i it was refunded in error but they cannot give me a letter that this is paid up. This is frustrating as I need my name cleared with ITC
Standardback confirmed the fund was returned to African bank.
