Update version e-mail send out to supplier - no follow up send - e-mail never reached the supplier due to number of reasons - update effects 17 payrolls to be redone & reprinted due to inefficient programming technology - refuse to accept responsibility and accept billing for work to be re-done. Call centre agent spoke to manager who could not speak to the supplier but channel through the actual call centre agent - the same response - there is nothing we could do for you - you need to redo - solution was given to export and import the new tax numbers but it would still change the actual data. The simple solution would be to allow the supplier to role over into the new period and update the new version. This is hassle free with no implication but VIP haven't got the software to handle this feature. Very disappointing outcome! Very bad service level! Software update not properly investigated - solutions given not advance enough!
