Claim not paid for well known method

Apparently it is a common occurrence that use jamming of car remotes to gain access to vehicles, in fact I believe it was highlighted on television recently. It was demonstrated to me by the policeman investigating my case, thus i have seen it first hand. My handbag (aka my life) was recently in this way from the beach where it was in the boot of my car. Dial direct have rejected the (small) claim because there is no visible damage to my vehicle. I find this totally unaccpetable because not only have I lost valuable items which I cannot afford to replace, I now have to take time off work to apply for a new ID book, a new driver's licence and cover the costs of these and my credit card which was maxed by the before I even realised that my bag was gone and my insurance company will not pay a cent despite my paying on time every month for the insurance cover. The worst part about this is that the consultant said yes, we are aware of this method used by but our terms and conditions have not changed. I urge everyone to check their insurance policies ASAP... I'm in the process of changing my insurer.
