I received an sms from Sars that I owe them some money regarding the the penalties they charged me for not submitting the returns in 2007 / 2008 . After I have received an sms I then went to Sars Garsfontein to find out what the charges were all about. They said it's only a penalty and I need to pay that penalty, howeever I told them I can afford to pay that R2040 all at ones, I can only make an arrangement and pay it off within six month. We made an arrangement and Dcm deducted money from my salary, I phoned DCM and spoke to Elmarie Thompson and she said I should send her the proof that I paid my first payment to Sars on the 30th of April 2013 . She vowed to refund the money back to me but never done that, I phoned her four times and she referred me Sars because she said the money has been paid to Sars. I phoned Sars and spoke to Motlatsi and she indicated that she does not see any payment that they have done and the only payment she can see is from me. I then phoned Elmarie and she again referred me back to Sars. I feel she sending me from pillar to post and she is very inefficient in her job. Please intervene as I need my refund back.
