I had a Loan with Standard Bank for R5000.00 which I settled in July 2012, at the Cresta Branch. The Service consultant who assisted forgot to close the loan thus it gained interest and it was in arrears.
I recieved numerous calls from rude consultants saying that I owe the whole loan as if I hadnt paid it off.
I also recieved a letter from Standard Bank Credit assurance stating that the account will be handed over.
The CRR Senior Consultant called me and advised me that everything will be sorted out in regards to the Loan, and that my credit report would be updated, but now I dont qualify for any credit with other financial institutions because of the Hand over status that was put on my profile by STANDARD BANK.

I am devastated by the poor service I recieved and now Im not credit worthy, I cant even apply for anything because of a service consultant who didnt close the loan after I settled it.
