I had an account with standard bank about 2 years ago and took a loan which was settled and my account was closed, i received sms's that the loan account is owing and went to the branch in Randburg and they said it was settled and gave me a letter because its been long i no longer have the letter, but today i have received an sms that i am going to be handed over if i dont pay the minimum amount. standard bank had better check their records because if they dare hand me over all will break loose- i demand a letter of confirmation to be emailed to me.
