Terrible upfront customer service

Sometime last month I applied for a new FNB Gold cheque card as from what was advertised that its fast and efficient to do so and that i would receive my Gold card within a few days however after numerous request my card was still not delivered, I was promised that it would be delivered to me by latest Wednesday 08/05/2013 morning however yet again nothing has arrived and not even a call to apologise or advise me that the card will be delivered at a later date, when i called them i was going back to explaining my story which is extremely frustrating and i was tranferred to a so called courier department of which i was holding for over 10 mins and eventually the call dropped... Is this the kind of service that i'm going to get upfront? Should i consider another bank as clearly what was advertised is not that efficient or fast or easy...
