Frustrations over paid account

I took out a loan in December which was due for payment on the 20th January. I resigned and my salary was only paid in month end which resulted in the debit order failing due to insufficient funds on the 20th.
- 31st January I got an sms from Wonga that they had colleted the amount owing.
- 7th March I got a sms from their debt collectors that my account has been handed over, I called them and they said I owe R108.00. I made arrangements with them to deduct from my account which they failed to do.
- 3rd April I got another call from the debt collectors saying I now owe R236.00 and arranged again for a debit order which never went through.
- 22nd April I got another call and we arranged for the 25th I then requested banking details in case it doesnt go thorugh and indeed it didnt.
- 26th I made a EFT to the account provided, I called the debt collectors on the 7th May and they told me the account has been closed and I must contact Wonga for queries. To my suprise Wonga tells me they have handed my account over to other attorneys with an amount of R74.00 (I WILL NOT PAY).
Why must I pay 2 different debt collectors for the same account?
