Still not finalised after two weeks

My husband qualifies to have a personal banker look after his account. About two weeks ago he contacted FNB and applied for a loan. His personal banker said that he qualifies to load the loan amount on his credit card's budget facility. He also told my husband that it should be finalised within 2-3 working days. My husband has made various calls to FNB to find out why he still hasn't been contacted or notified and every time the only response he gets is that they are still busy with it, they will phone him back, that they currently have a huge workload and that they are overloaded. It has now been more than two weeks and still nothing. Can anyone please tell me when this issue will be resolved as we are not very happy with the current service of such a huge company especially after being a client for more than 20 years.
