I have tried for the past week, some days twice a day, to speak with a consultant at 4ways Crossing branch JHB but the queues are always so long due to the slow and disinterested staff. At most I have seen two tellers on duty while another was leaning against the wall behind the counter chatting to the teller who was dealing with a client through-out a consultation lasting 30 minutes. Another day the box at the entrance, that gives you a ticket for the queue was stuck which resulted in the security guard hitting the contraption with a stick which had no effect. After 30 minutes I managed to manoeuvre my way to the teller who refused to speak to me with out a ticket. I visited the branch twice today but estimate I would need 2 hours before reaching a teller. The attitude of staff at this branch is soooo slack and does not resemble the slick and stylish image portrayed in Capitec's television commercials. I very much doubt I am the only one to have complained about this branch so can only think that this is the management style of this bank. I opened my account 2 years ago at this branch and can honestly say the service just gets worse.
