I had insurance with first for women from 2010, they also gave my details to 1st for women to offer me life cover. Last year June I called 1st for women to cancel my insurance as I had a better offer elsewhere & I told the call centre agent that I want everything to cancelled, i not got any communication from 1life and even forgot that at some point First for women referred them to me to life cover. I was advised that everything is cancelled. I only noticed when I check my bank statement that Telesure was deducting R49 and 1Life direct R72, I called to enquire about this and I was advised the policies were still active, I then asked how is that possible as I cancelled everything with the main insurance which actually linked these other policies. Then Telesure confirmed cancellation of policy and they refunded the deductions from July 2012 till the latest deduction. Now 1life direct decided to ignore me and first for women, I sent two emails to them and there was no response. I called call centre to follow up, the person who took my initial query said they cant find my complaint even though i got an sms to rate his service few days ago, he emailed me so that I resend the complaint aga
