NEW CHEQUE ACCOUNT

I am in the process of changing my bank account from fnb to Absa, I have send all my documents required via email, but would like to know how long would it take to get the account active, no one has contacted me yet. As I explained in my email when I've send all documents, I would like to do as much over the telephone or email if possible, my nearest Absa branch is 45min from me, if they can send me card with couriers that would be great. Your assistance would be appreciated.
