I dont want your credit, I want my money

November 2011 I purchased a R499.00 massage voucher... When I tried to redeem the voucher I was informed that the promotion had been cancelled by the supplier. In March 2013 I discovered that there was now a credit on my account for R499.00.
When I called the Groupon office on the 15th of March 2013 they informed me that the refund would be processed and it should reflect in my account in 7 working days.
When I called again on the 27th and spoke to the manager, (Female) and she informed me that they wouldn't be refunding my account as its passed the refund date. Refund date??? Then why did the lady who I spoke to on the 15th confirm I would be refunded.
The manager confirmed that someone from their office would contact me regarding the refund but im still waiting.
I contacted the call centre this morning and had to wait over 20 minutes (started at number 22 in the queue) to be assisted by a lady who then transferred my call to an answering machine. I've tried calling again and again but the wait is far too long...
At the end of the day, Groupon cancelled the original promotion, not me and therefore I don't see why I should be forced to use the "credits" offered to me.
