Groupon is selling a "Kangaroo Keeper" for the special price of R279, apparently saving you R170... so this means that the normal price is R449? This is a lie! And people are actually buying this without doing a quick online search...
I queried this with Groupon, and they replied: "while we check market prices to ensure we're offering a great deal, the discount and 'you save' figures won't necessarily correlate to the prices at which the product is being sold elsewhere. This includes both online and high street retailers."
Glomail products are sold everywhere (online and in shops) for the same prices... and the "Kangaroo Keeper" costs R199.90. So how can Groupon sell something that costs a lot less than what they're claiming?
