I bought 2 phones on contract last year and i was given a starter pack as part of the package. After answering the new starter pack I got message and calls from unknown companies claiming that I owe them money. This surprised me as that was a new number, I asked the guy who called me on who are they referring to he confirmed that it was a certain Mr from KZN. I went to Vodacom and asked if this number was used by someone before me. They confirmed that Vodacom recycles their numbers and I must call the call center to give me another number. I called them and they told me there is nothing they can do i must just ignore the calls and messages sent to the other person. This is not right as i am paying for that phone and how can i keep on ignoring people on my own phone. Vodacom please try to fix this as i shouldn't be irritated by people i don't know on my own phone. Just because you decided to give me a recycled number.
