Paying for Vodacoms Lack of Communication

I recently opened another contract with Vodacom.
They told me that i cannot do a sim swot with my other number, as the contract is still in use. Fine i somewhat understand this.
I then received a new sim card/number. This is a recycled number. Ive been receiving threads from Edgars, FNB and other personal SMS for a Thulani (previous owner of this number) This is most definitely not for me, as i do not have an FNB or Edgars (or Jet) account. I then phoned Vodacom to complain. They said my only solution is to either phone everyone and tell them this is a recycled number or to do a sim swop at Vodacom, for which i must pay for. I DO NOT AGREE with this. Why must i pay for a sim swop because Vodacom gave me a recycled number! Could they not communicate this before giving me a previously used number?
i Also had another concern; that i cannot view who phones me, i then asked Vodacom why is this happening, and they told me that i have to pay R9 (something) to be able to see who is phoning me. Firstly why was this NOT COMMUNICATED, if this is the case i would not have taken this phone, also this used to be a standard feature, why must we now pay for this?!
