I received a new phone from Cell C cos I was due for upgrade. they gave me a new sim card cos the phone they gave required a micro sim. on Wed 4th Dec i called Cell C so they can do the sim swap for me. a call centre agent told me that another person will call me within 24hrs. On the 5th I recieved a call from Phetheni Mlotshwa, she told me she's going to help me with the sim swap. she asked me some security questions which i answered and she further asked other questions which she required me to answer Yes or No. i answered to my best of ability though sometimes i thought the questions were stupid and irrelevant. She then told me that i have answered all the questions wrong and she's not going to do the swap for me. I asked her where she got those questions from, she told me that she checked my ITC profile.

i didn't give her permission to check my ITC profile in the 1st place and I was not applying for any credit for that matter. i want to know who gave her permission to do that.

i had to go to the mall and pay R50 for the sim swap. i dont understand why i had to be asked such questions just for doing sim swap. I want my R50 back.
