Hi. I am really frustrated with vodacom. Every-time I upgrade a new problem arise. I am eligible for a contract upgrade. I went to vodacom stores and even called them and i was told to go to any place and upgrade. So, I went Game. After I was offered a reduced contract as game couldn't give me the talk 500 I decided to upgrade and take the talk 240 plus a gift voucher as I didn't want a new handset. After the upgrade was done I was told for the first time that i need to pay R150 admin fee. So, I questioned it. Why do I need to pay to stay with Voda. I called the call centre and was assisted. I was advised to call another no as the can wave this fee. I was also told that this fee is partly for the phone delivery. So I made them aware that I am upgrading without taking a phone. We called the other dept, and the man was rude as he told me I must pay or go and get upgrade at call centre but loose my voucher. I said I dont agree to pay as im not getting a new phone, and also not paying to stay with voda. I am seriously thinking of moving as i told him i will complain and he almost dared me to do so. So if this is the thanks i am getting after paying R1000pm they can call me to cancel.
