Unhappy that upgrade vouchers have been dicontinue

I Have 4 cell phone accounts with Vodacom. I am not someone who wants the newest and fanciest phone when I upgrade so I have always appreciated the fact that when I ugraded and chose a modest phone I would always get quite alot of money back in vouchers which I could use anywhere. I thought it was a great concept. Recently when I went Vodaworld to upgrade 2 of my contracts that were due for an upgrade now, I was told that Vodacom had done away with obtaining vouchers when upgrading and that basically I need to upgrade to a fancy phone. I dont like to be forced! What I don't understand is that if I go to Game or Makro, Incredible Connection or Metro and upgrade/ continue paying the same but select a cheap phone, I could get about R2700 in vouchers per contract however I will get a game voucher or a makro voucher instead of Vodacom's which you could utilise anywhere. I always thought if one went to the actual service provider rather than through a 3rd party ie Game etc one would always benefit more - which is not the case here! I am really disgruntled with the situation as what I have done for years has now come to a grinding halt!
