I upgraded to a blackberry torch in march 2012.July 2012 phone broke, vodacom replaced it with a "new" phone. Jan 2013 phone broke, i then found out the so called new phone they gave me in July 2012 was actually refurbished. They sent me another refurbished phone, it arrived at the vodacom shop broken so it had to be sent back. I was without a phone for a month. I eventually got another refurbished phone with the same problem. Vodacom refuses to do anything more about the problem. I am paying R600, 00 a month for a phone i cant use and i've still got one year left of my contract, I've had to buy another phone to use. I've been a loyal customer of vodacom for app.10 years. It just proves that loyalty means nothing. Consumers beware when u get told you getting a new phone it is actually a refurbished phone. I have got 4 contracts in my family and we are all going to have think carefully about renewing our contracts with vodacom!
