I have purchased a Samsung washing machine in December 2012. I was afforded a "R500 gift card" from Samsung on trade in of my old machine.

I have called and activated the card in December 2012. I was told that it will take 24 hours to be activated. It has been almost 2 months later. I called just to make sure that the money (R500) is on the card prior to me making a purchase. And surprisingly I was told that this card was never activated!!!

I initially called the number on the envelope (0861122267) and spoke to Thando who informed me that this card was not activated. Thando gave me another number to call (0860726786), she advised that they will activate this card! To no avail, I spoke to Tshepiso who told me that she cannot help me and that I need to call 0115491500 (press option 3) and speak to Eben. I called 0115491500 (pressed option 3) and the call just hangs up after the first ring!

I purchased this washing machine from Samsung under the pretence that I will be receiving a R500 gift card. I am disgusted with the service from Samsung, really it's pathetic!
