It is impossible to get technical assistance from Menlyn istore without a booking. The assumption is that only local people will need assistance and will plan the assistance they require. I am curious as to how travellers who find themselves in Pretoria with a problem with their macbook will get assistance. Namely International travellers who suddenly cannot get into some application or the other or just have a challenge working with their MacBook and need just a bit of assistance. The stance seems to be make a booking... They do not deal with emergencies.
This is very unhelpful, particularly if one has an 18 hour flight ahead of them. Surely istore Menlyn can be a little more customer orientated. Surely a few more techies can be hired to assist. Or does this mean we should tell all travellers to only bring their PC's to South Arica just in case they have a problem otherwise they have to make a booking - which you CANNOT DO WITH A BROKEN/FAULTY MACBOOK!!!
